In the far Limpopo Province of South Africa, the magical Soutpansberg mountain range rises like an oasis from the surrounding bushveld. This is one of the country's most unique environments and boasts one of the highest biodiversities in Africa. At the top of this mountain, in a well hidden valley, lies Leshiba Wilderness.

Leshiba has been part of an initiative to include the Soutpansberg into the recently proclaimed Vhembe Biosphere Reserve. This initiative has included the many local communities in the process which will contribute to the long term preservation of the area.
